Our Calling

To Serve

Since its inception in 2016, the Robinson Foundation has sought to demonstrate God's love through sharing the gifts we have received. We understand the often unspoken hardships and struggles that people in and outside of our community face everyday. As such, our contributions are focused on relieving these hardships for the betterment of our world. As a family-operated foundation, we pray that our small efforts will not only create immediate change in the lives of our neighbors, but will help set those lives on a course for success in the future. We are thankful for each and every day we have on this earth to use what God has granted us to make a difference.

In loving memory of our cherished son, brother, friend and advisor,
Donald Adam Robinson
1983–2024

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you with my righteous right hand"
—Isaiah 41:10

Though we grieve, we hold onto the promise of comfort and strength during this difficult time. Your spirit will always remain in our hearts.

Caring For

One Another

Our focus on the medical needs of children and their families is a cornerstone of our foundation. The hardship of coping with illness and financial stress is a devastating combination for many families with adverse outcomes. We focus on providing relief in the area because we believe that our future truly rests in the next generation.

This year’s grants allowed for updates in multiple Trauma Rooms, including additions of a Boom and Fisheye camera and monitors, trauma stretchers, intubation systems, and other necessary, life-saving medical devices.

Finding Cures, Saving Children.®

For sixty years, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has pursued a lifesaving goal: Finding cures. Saving children.®

St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened in 1962.

From the innovative work of St. Jude doctors and scientists, pushing for breakthroughs, to the world-class care of staff, everyone has a role to play in helping save children from cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The Need

Sixty years later, the majority of St. Jude funding still comes from individual contributors. This means St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most — innovative work and the push for breakthroughs.

Our Contribution

$9,000,000+ has been contributed from Robinson Foundation to St. Jude to date.

The Impact

Robinson Foundation has deliberately focused on the mission of St. Jude with its support of the following clinical and research programs:

  • Endowment in pharmacogenetics to focus on targeted therapies for St. Jude patients so that their treatment would be as effective as possible.
  • Ongoing support for family housing at the Tri Delta Place and Ronald McDonald House
  • Purchase of three UV disinfecting robots to help St. Jude better protect patients in 2020. The Xenex Pulsed Disinfection Robot has been an essential weapon against the virus that causes COVID-19.
  • Additional support was provided to assist St. Jude with clinical costs not anticipated during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
  • A state-of-the-art laboratory in the Advanced Research Center, which allows St. Jude to advance research
  • A gift was applied to the ICU to fund an inpatient/parent suite for critically ill St. Jude patients. This is the second inpatient/parent suite Robinson Foundation has provided.

Building

Strong Communities

The value of a strong community should never be undervalued or underestimated. It can be the greatest source of strength, support, and spirit that some people encounter in their entire lives. We believe that you get what you put in and that’s why investing in this area is crucial for so many people.

Boys & Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region

What We Do

Since 2014, the Boys & Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region has fulfilled its mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Our organization serves over 150 youth through membership and community outreach during the year, and 75 youth through low-cost programming during the summer. Our Club offers daily access to a broad range of programs in five core program areas (Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; and Sports, Fitness and Recreation) and several specialized initiatives.

The Impact

The grants from Robinson Foundation supported a multitude of programs for youth in our area. Specifically, in 2024, we provided a few Christmas gifts per club member, new coats for each club member, field trips, and more.

Weathering the

Unforeseen

Disasters, health crisis, and humanitarian emergencies are not something that anyone can plan for, much less easily navigate financially. Our focus here is to create an immediate solution to immediate needs that leave those affected in a better place than before.

Mercy Chefs

Simply Feeding People

Mercy Chefs is a faith-based, non-profit disaster and humanitarian relief organization. They exist to provide professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals to victims, volunteers, and first responders in natural disasters and emergencies. Mercy Chefs partners with existing like-minded organizations to further their mission by providing food service in underserved communities across the country and around the globe.

The Need

After multiple rounds of tornadoes and hurricane-like winds swept across Midwestern and Southern states, thousands of individuals and families were left displaced, shattered, and without access to food, water, and electricity. Mercy Chefs swiftly mobilized disaster response teams to serve hot meals within 24–48 hours to vulnerable communities in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.

Our Contribution

One of our focuses at the Robinson Foundation is to create immediate solutions to immediate needs that leave those affected in a better place than before. In 2024, we donated over $500,000 in support of Mercy Chefs’ disaster relief efforts to make our total contribution to this wonderful organization $1,400,000+.

The Impact

Mercy Chefs used our grant funds to purchase vital supplies and groceries to prepare hot, nutritious meals during various disasters in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Beyond the onsite distribution sites, these meals were delivered to shelters, public schools, elderly homes, residential areas, and many communities that had gone without assistance for days. These contributions have empowered victims, volunteers, and emergency responders to find hope through God’s love amidst disaster and hardship.
